Sean is a tax adviser with over 20 years’ experience of advising businesses and their owners on their tax affairs.
He advises growing, entrepreneurial businesses in a variety of industry sectors, including the property, sports & entertainment, financial services, hospitality, automotive and manufacturing sectors. Sean has a particular interest in innovative companies.
Key experience
- Advising on tax issues associated with acquisitions, disposals and restructuring of companies, and other M&A tax matters,
- Advising on employee incentive structures,
- Advising on tax aspects of equity fundraising, including advising companies and their investors on eligibility under the Venture Capital Schemes, including the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS),
- Advising on capital allowances and innovative tax reliefs such as R&D tax relief.
Interests
Sean is married with two children and a dog, and lives in South Gloucestershire. He is a sports fanatic with strong allegiances to sport in the South West. To keep active, he runs and walks the dog.
